Moldova to provide job placement, business assistance to returnees
The Moldovan government has approved a program to provide benefits to citizens who return to live in the country. The program includes measures to help returnees find jobs, start businesses, and access social and educational services.
"The main goal of the program is to create European living conditions that will motivate citizens who have left the country to return home," said Artur Mija, the government's secretary general.
Specific benefits under the program include:
- Job placement assistance, including training and placement services
- Financial assistance for starting businesses
- Simplified access to social and educational services
The program is designed to run for five years, and the actions included will be re-evaluated after three years and adapted to the needs of returnees and their families.
