Air alert across Ukraine - fighter jets in Belarus

In the morning of December 25, an air alert was announced in Ukraine, reports Ukrainskaia Pravda.

According to the portal, which refers to Belarusian media sources, a Russian MiG-31K took off from the airfield in Machulyshchy. Within an hour, two more fighter planes took off from Baranovichi. Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned Ukrainians of possible massive attacks near the holidays. Experts also suggest that the Russians will want to turn the winter holidays into another test for Ukrainians. We remind you that on December 24, Russian airstrikes killed 10 people in the southern Ukrainian city of Kherson, Ukrainian officials said. Regional authorities said another 68 people were injured and asked locals to urgently donate blood. Moscow has repeatedly denied that it targeted civilians in its attacks. However, President Vladimir Putin recently acknowledged that Russian troops had struck Ukraine's critical energy facilities.
