Janis Mazeiks: "The Moldovan people have proved their resilience, strength and solidarity"
The year that is coming to an end was full of challenges, but the Republic of Moldova managed to face them, to demonstrate resilience and solidarity – reads the message sent on the occasion of Christmas by the head of the EU Delegation in Chisinau, Ambassador Janis Mazeiks.
"The year 2022 was full of challenges marked especially by Russia's war against Ukraine and the energy crisis, but also a year in which the Moldovan people demonstrated their resilience, strength and solidarity. The Republic of Moldova has become a candidate state for EU accession. May the New Year bring us peace, well-being and prosperity. I wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!", was the ambassador's congratulatory message.
