IMF experts to assess progress of Moldova's IMF program
A mission from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will begin its work in Chisinau today. The mission will negotiate Moldova's request for support under the new Resilience and Sustainability Financing Facility, the institution announced in a press release.
The resources provided under this mechanism could help Moldova to support, among others, the objectives of environmental policies and sustainable economic development over the long term.
The IMF team, which will be in Chisinau for two weeks, will have discussions in the context of the fourth review of the program supported by the Extended Credit Facility and the Extended Fund Facility.
The experts will assess the developments and progress made in the implementation of the IMF program in Moldova.
