The CEC accredited another 20 international observers to monitor the November 5 elections
Another 20 international observers will monitor the local elections on November 5. They were accredited during today's meeting of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC).
Among them, 13 people were accredited at the request of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, 5 from the European Network of Election Monitoring Organizations and one each from the Swiss Cooperation Office/Representation of the Embassy of the Swiss Confederation in the Republic of Moldova and of the Permanent Electoral Authority of Romania.
Previously, the Central Electoral Commission accredited another 19 international observers and 149 national observers. At the same time, the CEC announces that, during today's meeting, it confirmed 2 journalists for the coverage and monitoring of the general local elections.
Since the beginning of the election period, another 24 journalists have been confirmed, from four media institutions.
