One injured in the Crevedia explosion died in Germany. Death toll reaches six
The toll of the explosion at the LPG station in Crevedia reached six dead after a patient with burns admitted to a clinic in Lubeck, Germany, died, according to the report on the victims sent on Monday by the Ministry of Health, reports hotnews.ro.
Four patients who suffered burns as a result of the explosion are still hospitalized in clinics in Brussels, Milan and Lubeck, the one in Lubeck will be transferred to Romania on Monday.
According to the report of the Romanian Ministry of Health, 48 patients have been discharged so far, including seven from hospitals abroad. Four people still remain hospitalized abroad.
The sixth death following the explosion occurred on September 30, a person with burns on more than 40% of the body surface.
Among the patients abroad, one originally taken to Milan is in critical condition with burns over 90% of his body and has been transferred to another clinic in Italy that specializes in treating burns.
