The Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Israel operates on alert and offers only emergency consular services

The Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Israel operates in an alert mode, only emergency consular services are provided, such as issuing travel documents, informs the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration (MAEIE). To date, the Embassy has received 65 requests for information regarding the situation in the country and commercial flights.

"MAEIE recommends all citizens of the Republic of Moldova who wish to leave Israel to use the commercial routes available in the coming days, whether they are heading to Chisinau, Bucharest or other cities from which they can travel more easily to the Republic of Moldova."

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the following flights on the route Tel-Aviv - Chisinau are scheduled for October 10, 11, 12 and 15.

This morning, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, a meeting of the Crisis Cell took place to analyze the security situation in Israel.

It should be noted that the visas of foreigners who are legally in Israel and which expire next month will be extended.

More than 700 people have been killed in Israel since Hamas launched the attacks on Saturday morning, including 260 at a music festival. Nearly 500 died in Gaza after Israel launched massive retaliatory airstrikes.

The Israeli military compares the coordinated surprise attack launched by Hamas to that of September 2001 on the United States of America.
