Romania: A coach with dozens of passengers overturned. Five people were injured
A coach with passengers overturned last night, in the town of Hârșova, Romania. In this sense, the Red Intervention Plan has been activated, announced the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, quoted by adevarul.ro.
According to the quoted source, the accident was allegedly caused by the explosion of one of the tires of the means of transport, in which there were about 80 people.
"The driver would have lost control of the direction, and the coach would have overturned", reads a statement sent by IPJ Constanța.
The driver was tested with breathalyzers and drugtests, the results being negative. From the information available so far, five people have been injured and transported to the hospital.
Considering the number of people involved, the Red Intervention Plan was activated at the county level, which involves supplementing the resources allocated to the accident, informs the source.
