Over 120 citizens of the Republic of Moldova have returned from Israel in the last 24 hours
During yesterday, 121 citizens of the Republic of Moldova returned from Israel, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration announced in a statement. Also, 59 Moldovans left for this country.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also states that it maintains contact with our compatriots in the Gaza Strip, but also with other states that are trying to find a way to evacuate civilians.
"We ask Moldovan citizens present on the territory of Israel to register using this form (https://shorturl.at/tvCR9). So far, 451 citizens have registered", the relevant Ministry mentions.
Plane tickets from Tel-Aviv to Chisinau are in demand and sell very quickly, and the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Israel will ask the authorities in Chisinau to supplement the number of flights, Moldova's ambassador to Israel, Alexandr Roitman, said yesterday.
At the same time, the Civil Aviation Authority requested the national operators to organize more flights from Israel to the Republic of Moldova.
According to official data, there are officially 13 thousand Moldovans in Israel, but unofficially their number exceeds 20 thousand.
Since the start of the war, the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Tel-Aviv, the Crisis Cell and the Call Center at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have registered over 300 requests from Moldovan citizens in Israel.
