The number of infections with the COVID-19 virus is decreasing
In the last week, 358 cases of infection with the new coronavirus were registered in the Republic of Moldova, by 90 less than in the previous week. According to the Ministry of Health, in the same period, 17,514 tests were performed and four deaths were recorded.
Also in the last week, 215 people received their first dose of the anti-COVID vaccine, and 954 received their third dose. In total, to date, 1,074,548 people were vaccinated with the full schedule. Starting in July, citizens can administer their Booster 2 dose of the vaccine against COVID-19. Also, it is possible to immunize children who have reached the age of 12.
