According to a press release from the Legislative, the Vice-President of the Parliament gave a speech during the debate on the topic "The role of the Council of Europe in preventing conflicts, restoring the credibility of international institutions and promoting global peace", reiterating that Ukraine needs support.

"We must support Ukraine until the moment of victory, because only the victory of Ukraine can ensure us a real, lasting peace in our region," added Mihail Popsoi.

The official said that the perception of the Republic of Moldova towards the Russian Federation has changed and only the victory of Ukraine can ensure a real, lasting peace in our region.

We remind you that, between October 9-13, a delegation of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova participated in the autumn session of the PACE. The agenda of the meeting included debates on several current topics, including ensuring peace in Ukraine and sustainable security in Europe.
