Spain: Families with annual incomes of less than 27,000 euros will receive aid and tax breaks

The Spanish government has approved the granting of a voucher of 200 euros to help families with annual incomes of less than 27,000 euros, as well as the elimination of VAT for essential foodstuffs in the first semester of 2023, but also the reduction from 10% to 5% for oil and pasta, reports Agerpres.

These are some of the measures announced by the head of the Executive, the socialist Pedro Sanchez, as part of the third public aid package to combat the crisis and inflation, aggravated by the war in Ukraine. About 4.2 million households will benefit from financial aid for vulnerable families, according to the Government's calculations.
