Moldova Support Platform: France, Germany, Romania and the Republic of Moldova signed a joint statement

After the conclusion of the fourth Ministerial Conference of Moldova Support Platform organized in Chisinau, the foreign ministers of France, Germany, Romania and the Republic of Moldova signed a joint statement.

According to the document, the participants of Moldova Support Platform reaffirmed Moldova's rightful place within the European family and their commitment to support Moldova's EU accession path. Also, the four states recognized the efforts of the Chisinau authorities in continuing the reforms, especially in relevant fields for European integration, reads the document.

"I welcomed the work of all six Working Groups that reported their conclusions and proposals on the promotion of economic assistance, the humanitarian situation of refugees, the promotion of public administration reform and the management of public finances, strengthening the fight against corruption, effective border management and addressing energy challenges" , reads the quoted source.

France, Germany, Romania and the Republic of Moldova have committed to further strengthen their work, in a coordinated manner, including with a view to promoting the European integration agenda.

The Fourth Ministerial Conference of Moldova Support Platform took place today in Chisinau, under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, attended by the Prime Minister, Dorin Recean, ministers and high-level representatives from 37 states and 20 by international organizations, including international financial institutions.

The next Platform Conference will take place in 2024.
