Germany to allocate another 200 million euros to Ukraine for education, healthcare, drinking water and urban reconstruction
Germany will allocate another 200 million euros to Ukraine, announced the state secretary of the Federal Ministry of Economy of Germany, Jochen Flaisbart, during his visit to Ukraine on Friday, writes Ukrainskaia Pravda.
According to Flaisbart, who is responsible for coordinating Ukraine's recovery efforts in the German federal government, the money will go towards education, health care, drinking water, as well as urban reconstruction.
While in Kyiv, Flyasbart also stressed the importance of supporting key sectors of Ukraine's economy, such as agriculture, "because people need prospects and jobs."
The Ukrainian press also writes that since the beginning of Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine, in total the German Ministry of Reconstruction has allocated about one billion euros to support the civilian population of Ukraine.
