An airline from the Republic of Moldova is temporarily suspending its flights on the route Chisinau - Tel Aviv - Chisinau and Bucharest - Tel Aviv - Chisinau, for security reasons.

The company says it will monitor the situation and will return with regular updates on the resumption of flights to and from Tel Aviv, without providing further details.

According to the latest data published by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, since the beginning of the war in Israel, 1,622 Moldovan citizens returned to the country, and 548 left for Tel Aviv.
