The National Institute for Education and Leadership is to be created in Chisinau
The National Institute for Education and Leadership will be created in Chisinau, with the aim of modernizing continuous training processes and improving the quality of teaching in schools.
Thus, during the next year, more than a thousand mentors will be trained, who will help young specialists to integrate into the educational process, said the Minister of Education and Research, Dan Perciun.
"The institute is a public institution with 17 people, at this stage, which during 2024 is going to recruit these one thousand mentors to pay them and to train them, in such a way, to fulfill their role in school. Actually, they will be selected from among top teaching staff, with outstanding performances, and they will be supported materially in order to have the necessary motivation to help us increase the quality of education in the Republic of Moldova", said Dan Perciun.
Dan Perciun noted that the action is part of the 20 priorities of the Government, included in the National Plan "Building a European Moldova".
