The Republic of Moldova switches to winter time this Sunday
On the night of October 28 to 29, the Republic of Moldova will switch to winter time, by moving the the clock back one hour. Thus, 4:00 in the morning will be 3:00, the Government announces.
Moldova switches to winter time every year, on the last night from Saturday to Sunday in October simultaneously with the member states of the European Community.
Smartphones, regardless of model, change their time automatically if the option that synchronizes the time with the network is checked in the settings.
Citizens are asked to carefully plan their schedule activities, especially trips to the airport, train station or bus stations, taking into account the expected time changes over the weekend.
