The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, arrived in Kiev today, announced Ukrainian deputy Iaroslav Jelezniak in a message on his Telegram channel, quoted by Reuters and Agerpres.
The head of the European executive is to give a speech in the Parliament of Ukraine, reads the message.
The visit precedes the Commission's report on Ukraine's progress related to its candidacy for the European Union, a document that will be presented next week in Brussels.
