By 9:00 a.m., 141 incidents were reported by observers in the territory. Based on the 44 incidents processed, 4 cases were of restricting observers' access to the polling stations, but they were still admitted 5 minutes before 7 o'clock, so that they could see the entire preparation process.
Another type of incident has to do with deficiencies in the state election information system, technical problems, access to the Internet - 7 such cases. The CEC announces that at 07:00 the 1,958 polling stations, organized for the voting, were opened.
For the 898 mayoral mandates, 3,297 people registered in the electoral race, and for 11,058 councilor mandates – 45,775 people. 2,758,810 voters are expected at the polls.
For the general local elections, the CEC printed 7,669,667 ballot papers, of which 6,068,878 were in Romanian and 1,600,789 were in Russian. CEC announces that in 2 localities, in Chioselia Rusă and Cotovskoe in UTA Găgăuzia, there will not be elections for the position of mayor, and in the village of Cealîc, Taraclia district, voters will not participate in the elections for the local council.
