The Moldovan authorities, in solidarity with the Ukrainian people following the rocket attacks. Natalia Gavrilița: "I am deeply saddened and outraged"
The authorities of the Republic of Moldova condemn today's missile attacks on Ukraine. In a post on Facebook, Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița said that our state stands in solidarity with the Ukrainian people. At the same time, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration (MAEIE) maintains that our Embassy in Kyiv and the Consulate in Odessa are still active and offer consular and informational support to Moldovan citizens in Ukraine if necessary.

"I am deeply saddened and outraged by the Russian missile attacks on Ukraine that took place today. These barbaric attacks resulted in the destruction of peaceful infrastructure and human losses. During the winter holidays, when we expect to enjoy peace and reconciliation, the Kremlin launches missiles," the prime minister said.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration (MAEIE) "strongly condemned Russia's brutal aggression against Ukraine, which aims to destroy critical infrastructure and kill civilians."
"Today's morning launch of more than 100 Russian missiles in the direction of major Ukrainian cities, including regions bordering our country, is unacceptable. Our embassy in Kyiv and the consulate in Odessa are still active and offer informational and consular support to the citizens of the Republic of Moldova in Ukraine if necessary", said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement.
President Maia Sandu also sent a message of support for Ukraine and vehemently condemned the barbaric actions, "intended to bring destruction and death".
Radio Moldova recalls that today Ukraine was subjected to a massive missile attack. Air alerts sounded in all regions of the country. The mayor of the Ukrainian capital, Vitali Kliciko, claims that the air defence forces shot down 126 missiles over Kiev.
The Russian Ministry of Defense published a photo on social media in which it wrote that: "Kalibru missiles will never end."
