The priorities of the Ministry of Agriculture for next year, announced by Vladimir Bolea

Several bureaucratic processes related to agriculture in the Republic of Moldova are to be digitized in the coming years. Thus, the multitude of papers that farmers bring when they have to report the areas they work can be done through electronic maps and registers. The statement was made by the Minister of Agriculture, Vladimir Bolea, during a press conference.

"And you know that we are working a lot on digitization, on reducing the bureaucracy and the papers carried by farmers when they file, when they have to report the areas they work. It can do these things exclusively through digitization, through electronic maps, through electronic ledgers. We have started the process. I think in 2023 and 2024, in two years, we will complete this process entirely. A secure single register of economic agents in agriculture will be made, especially since we will complete the process of registering economic agents", said Vladimir Bolea.

The Minister of Agriculture mentioned that in 2023, additional efforts will be combined in order to create new facilities in the subsidy process, in accordance with the needs of farmers. In the same way, actions will be increased to cap the activity of peasant households, change their taxation system, promote cooperation between farmers, develop electronic registers and reduce bureaucracy in the economic activities of agricultural enterprises.
