The accession of the Republic of Moldova to the European Union will not be an easy process even after the decision of the European Commission, which recommended the opening of negotiations, said the Romanian expert in foreign policy, Mihai Isac, in the show "Zi de Zi" from our radio station.
"Everything will depend on the capacity of the authorities in Chisinau to deal with the necessary reforms to show the European partners that the trust granted was deserved. At this moment, the Republic of Moldova is in the most favorable moment in its recent history. Moreover, the support from Romania cannot be contested", declared Mihai Isac.
We remind that the European Executive today adopted the 2023 Enlargement Package, which provides a detailed assessment of the current state and progress made by Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey and, for the first time, Ukraine, The Republic of Moldova and Georgia in the process of joining the European Union.
