Deputy Prime Minister Nicu Popescu participates in the Paris Peace Forum

The sixth edition of the Peace Forum will be held in Paris between November 9-10, a platform that brings together government officials and experts from all regions of the world in the field of security and peace. French President Emmanuel will also participate in the event, and the Republic of Moldova will be represented by Deputy Prime Minister Nicu Popescu.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the head of Moldovan diplomacy will have meetings with Laurence Boone, secretary of state for Europe, Bertrand Buchwalter, adviser for continental Europe of the French presidency and with deputies from the France-Republic of Moldova friendship group within the National Assembly.

According to the Romanian media, since 2018, the Paris Peace Forum is the place where heads of state and international organizations collaborate with civil society and the private sector to build new forms of collective action.
