Discussions between the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova and the EBRD regional executive director regarding economic development priorities

The priorities for the economic development of the Republic of Moldova were discussed at the meeting of Prime Minister Dorin Recean with the Managing Director, Eastern Europe and the Caucasus (EEC) at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Matteo Patrone.

"The officials referred to the common priorities for increasing the investment attractiveness of our country and boosting trade connectivity. The ongoing projects in the fields of energy, finance, good governance and the green economy were reviewed", reads a press release from the Executive.

Also, measures were discussed to boost investments and business, by expanding the portfolio of guarantees, in the context of the volatile security situation in the region.

Prime Minister Dorin Recean mentioned that the Government continues to implement the necessary reforms for the sustainable development of the country, with an emphasis on justice reform, economic digitization, investments in infrastructure and the implementation of measures to strengthen energy security, reads the quoted source.
