The National Army is to receive today the last batch of Pirania-3 H- armored personnel carriers from Germany, the Ministry of Defense announces. According to the source, the technique was received during the current year, in the context of achieving the objective of modernizing the capabilities of the National Army and based on the agreement signed between the Ministry of Defense and the German side.
We remind you that the first batch of Piranha armored vehicles arrived in the Republic of Moldova in January of this year. The donation contains a total of 19 "Piranha-3" armored personnel carriers.
The authorities in Chisinau previously announced that the transporters will be used in the training process of the military, who are to be deployed in international peacekeeping missions.
