The Russian Federation carried out another massive drone attack on Ukraine last night. Yesterday, at about 7:00 p.m. the Ukrainian army warned that a group of drones were moving from the southeast. The air defense functioned in the regions of Khmelnytsky, Odessa and Kyiv. In the morning, Kyiv Military Administration was informed that the drones covered a complex route of almost 1000 km, performing difficult maneuvers on their way to the capital. The drones came from the northern direction to attack Kyiv. According to UNIAN, the Air Defense Forces shot down all targets.
Ukrainian Air Force reports that the Ukrainian army shot down 29 kamikaze drones launched by the Russian Federation. The attack lasted for eight hours, during which Russian invaders released a total of 38 drones.
„From 8.00 p.m. on November 17 to 04:00 a.m. on November 18, Russian invaders attacked Ukraine from the north and southeast directions (Kursk region of the Russian Federation, Primorsko-Akhtarsk) with the Shahed-type UAVs," the Ukrainian army reports.
According to the military sources, a total of 38 drones were launched by the Russians and, as a result of the air defense battle, 29 attack UAVs were destroyed by the Ukrainian army.
Aviation, Anti-Aircraft Missile Troops, Air Force and Defense Forces fire groups were involved in repelling the air strike, writes Ukrainska Pravda.
