Preliminary results: Alexandr Petkov becomes mayor of Balti, Serghei Anastasov is re-elected in Comrat
The Central Electoral Commission presents the preliminary results for the second round of local general elections. The candidate of Our Party, Alexandr Petkov, becomes the mayor of Balti according to the preliminary results presented by the Central Electoral Commission. 57.58 of people voted for him. In Comrat, the current mayor Serghei Anastasov gets a new mandate, according to the preliminary results, with 58% of the votes. His opponent, Nicolai Dudoglo, obtained 42 percent of the votes.
Vitalie Vrabie is the new mayor of Ungheni municipality. The independent candidate won over the PAS candidate, Dionisie Ternovschie with 57.58%
The PSRM candidate for mayor of Șoldănești, Vadim Groza, obtained over 61% of the votes, over the PAS candidate, Aliona Pînzari.
In Florești, the socialist Iurie Gangan is ahead of his PAS opponent, Eugeniu Gustoi, he got 59 percent of votes.
