Romania intends to ensure its energy independence with the support of the United States (USA), following to also help countries that need energy, but they have no source - declared in a joint press briefing with the American official the Prime Minister of Romania Nicolae-Ionel Ciucă.
"There is also the announced intention for cooperation in the development of capabilities of new energy sources. All these steps will ensure that we meet our level of ambition, broaden the palette of new energy sources and gain our energy independence. Of course, our country together with its strategic partners offers you the possibility to support all other countries that need energy, but do not have the sources and resources to produce it", declared Nicolae-Ionel Ciucă.
TRM.MD recalls that the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova, Nicu Popescu, together with his counterparts from Georgia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, will participate in the session dedicated to the impact that the war in Ukraine has on security in the Black Sea region.
