Premier Energy: About 13 thousand consumers in 36 localities remain disconnected from electricity

About 13,000 consumers in 36 localities remain disconnected from electricity following yesterday's heavy snowfall, Premier Energy announces. According to the institution, the operational intervention teams will continue to work in the field until all affected areas are fully supplied. In certain situations, the remediation time can be extended, because the interventions are made difficult by the lack of access to the power lines that are outside the city.

"We remind that during the last 24 hours, several new notices of wire breaks were registered, which, for security reasons, led to the supervised disconnection of the targeted points until all faults are fixed," reads the company's informative note.

In this context, the company's representatives reiterate the need for strict compliance with safety rules by people in relation to electrical installations.

"If you notice downed power lines on the streets, please inform the distribution operator immediately. Supervise children, especially these days when they are out sledding, and explain to them the rules of electrical safety and the consequences of their violation," informs Premier Energy.
