The unconstitutional authorities in Tiraspol are installing unauthorized barriers in the Security Zone to mark the territory
The unconstitutional authorities from Tiraspol are marking their territory by the unauthorized installation of barriers in the Security Zone between Varnița and Tighina, said the Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration, Oleg Serebrian, in the show "In Context" on Moldova 1 TV.
According to the official, these actions are attempts to retaliate against some decisions of the Chisinau authorities.
"The first is the measure that Tiraspol considered restrictive, introduced on September 1, 2022 with the pre-notification of the work visas of the officials on the left side of the Nistru, which caused a stir beyond the Nistru. The second one that remains a favorite topic in Tiraspol is the so-called separatism law which is an addition to the criminal code, we are determined to go further on this kind of actions which is pushing the Transnistrian region towards the real field of the Republic of Moldova", said Oleg Serebrian.
We remind you that Tiraspol is carrying out works to install a barrier made of pillars with the aim of restricting free movement between the village of Varnița, which is under the jurisdiction of Chişinău, and the city of Tighina, which is outside the constitutional control of the Republic of Moldova.
