EU transferred 70 million euros to the Republic of Moldova for the payment of energy compensation bills

The European Union transferred 70 million euros to the Republic of Moldova for the payment of energy compensation bills for vulnerable people. The money is granted in the form of non-refundable budget support.

The tranche was disbursed on Friday, December 1, and is part of the budget support of 105 million euros announced by the president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, during her visit to Chisinau in October.
