Border Police urges travellers to use alternative crossings
The Border Police in Moldova is advising travellers to consider using alternative border crossings due to heavy traffic at the Sculeni and Leușeni-Albița checkpoints.
"We are experiencing increased traffic at the Sculeni and Leușeni-Albița border crossings for vehicles exiting Moldova and entering Romania," stated a Border Police representative. "To expedite travel and minimise wait times, we encourage travellers to use other crossing points, such as Leova-Bumbăta (operational from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM), Cahul-Oancea, and Costești-Stânca."
The Border Police assures the public that it is taking all necessary measures to manage traffic flow and requests patience and understanding from travellers.
