Chisinau development: PAS and Mayor Ceban set to discuss
The Chisinau Municipal Council's Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) faction announced plans to meet with Mayor Ion Ceban to discuss the capital's development.
PAS councillor Lilian Carp stated, "We've received an invitation to discuss the PAS faction's vision for Chisinau's development under the current mayor. We will participate and share our views on local taxes, urban development, and infrastructure. After the discussion, we will issue a public statement regarding the municipality's development."
Earlier, Mayor Ceban expressed his willingness to form a coalition in the council with PAS and the Party of Socialists of the Republic of Moldova (PSRM) and support 60% of their electoral program.
The National Alternative Movement Party and PAS each hold 20 seats in the Chisinau Municipal Council, while the Socialist Party and Communist Party hold six and two seats, respectively.
