Roberta Metsola: Ukraine must get the political, moral and spiritual support it deserves. The same for the Republic of Moldova, Bosnia and Herzegovina
Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova must benefit from all the necessary support from the member states of the EU bloc in the accession process, said the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, at the beginning of the European Union Summit.
"Today we are witnessing a historic summit. Ukraine must get the political, moral and spiritual support it deserves. The same for the Republic of Moldova, Bosnia and Herzegovina. We would also like a final decision regarding the accession of Romania and Bulgaria to Schengen. We talked about this at every meeting of the European Council", said Roberta Metsola.
We remind that, today, the summit of the European Council began in Brussels, where it will be decided to launch the accession negotiations to the community block of Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova.
