The building of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova was included in the Register of monuments of the Republic of Moldova protected by the state
The building of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova, which dates from 1951-1955, was included in the Register of monuments of the Republic of Moldova protected by the state. Deputies approved a decision in this regard today, during the Parliament session.
According to a press release issued by the Legislative, the Register of monuments of the Republic of Moldova protected by the state was also completed with the Cristi-Korotnev Mansion, the Jewish Cemetery in Vadul-Rașcov and the Church "Sfântul Ilie" in Albota de Sus.
The purpose of assigning monument status to these immovable assets is to preserve the authenticity and to enhance the value of these elements of the national cultural-historical heritage.
