National Theatre's Christmas tale takes flight on Radio Moldova

This Christmas season, Radio Moldova and the National Theatre of Moldova team up to present a captivating radio adaptation of the musical drama "Inca o zi Crăciunul de-ar mai fi" ("If only Christmas could last one more day").

The play airs on Saturday, December 23rd, at 4:05 PM, promising a heartwarming immersion into the spirit of the holidays.

The radio drama reimagines the stage production directed by Olesea Sveclă, transporting listeners into the world of young Mira, who dreams of a snowy Christmas. As a wintry forecast offers a glimmer of hope, Mira and her friends embark on a charming quest to spread the magic of Christmas throughout their town.

Adding authenticity and vibrancy to the narrative are talented actors and children from the National Theatre. Renowned names like Mircea and Iana Onică, Rusanda Gâlca, Paula Cozub, and Rusanda Radvan join a chorus of young performers, enriching the play with their voices.

Further elevating the experience, the Chamber Orchestra of the National Theatre, conducted by Serghei Racenco, provides the evocative score for the play, weaving music and storytelling into a harmonious tapestry.
