The Parliament announces a competition for the position of president of the Court of Accounts. According to a press release from the Legislative, interested persons can submit tender files until February 9, 2024.
Candidates for the position of president of the Court of Accounts must have studies in the economic, financial or legal fields, as well as at least ten years of experience in these fields, including five years of managerial experience. The public competition for the selection of the candidate for the position of president of the Court of Accounts will include the examination of the CVs of the candidates and the test of the interview.
According to the legislation, the Court of Accounts consists of 7 members and is led by a president.
We remind you that the current president of the Court of Accounts is former politician Marian Lupu. He was appointed on February 7, 2019, for a 5-year term.
