Poland's president: We must respond to the latest carnage over Ukraine in the language Putin understands
The West should tighten sanctions against Russia and supply Kiev with long-range missiles in response to Moscow's latest bombing of Ukraine, Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said on Wednesday, BBC reports.
Russia struck Ukraine's two largest cities on Tuesday in a new wave of airstrikes that killed at least five people, prompting fresh calls for the West to quickly provide additional military aid to Kiev.
"We must respond to the latest carnage on Ukraine in a language that Putin understands: by tightening sanctions so they can no longer manufacture new weapons with contraband components and by providing long-range missiles to Kiev, which will allow it to target command and launch centers," Sikorski wrote on platform X.
