Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said he was ready to mediate and recalled the importance of resuming the grain corridor.

"Turkey expresses its willingness to assume the role of mediator and to hold talks to ensure peace in Ukraine," Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was quoted as saying by the media. "The grain corridor must resume its activity," the Turkish president added. The President of Ukraine wrote on a social network that, during the discussions, the topic of the Peace Formula regarding the return of prisoners and deportees was also addressed.

"During the conversation, special attention was paid to the clause of the Peace Formula regarding the return of all prisoners and deportees. Turkey's mediation is very important so that it is possible to release both Crimean Tatars and all others - adults and children, soldiers and civilians - who are held in Russian captivity," Volodmir Zelenskiy wrote.

We remind you that the leader from Ankara proposed mediation services during a previous meeting with the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin.
