Trucks are still not allowed to enter Romania through the Leușeni-Albita customs post
Trucks are still not allowed to enter the territory of Romania. The crossing and movement restriction for trucks through the Leușeni-Albita customs post, established by the Romanian authorities, is also valid for today, January 10, the Customs Service informs in an official statement.
"Customs officials at the Leușeni customs post will authorize the crossing of trucks at the exit from the Republic of Moldova after the crossing and movement restriction for trucks is removed by the Romanian authorities," the press release reads.
In this context, the Customs Service also informs that the activity of border customs posts, internal customs posts and internal customs control posts is carried out as usual, in winter conditions. All runways are cleared and traffic restrictions are not established, with the exception of the Leușeni-Albita border customs post, as trucks are not allowed to cross to the Romanian side.
We remind you that starting with January 8, due to unfavorable weather conditions, the movement of trucks to the Romanian side was restricted at the Leușeni-Albita border.
