Over 50 cases of seasonal flu were recorded during the past week
54 cases of seasonal flu were registered during the past week in the Republic of Moldova, announces the National Public Health Agency (ANSP).
According to the information presented, 32 cases were registered in the municipality of Chisinau; in Ialoveni – 6, Soroca – 5, Fălești – 4, Briceni and Căușeni – 2 each, the municipalities of Bălți, Orhei and Rezina – one case each.
At the same time, in the same period, 261 samples were investigated, in 32 the presence of influenza viruses was confirmed (7 – A-non-subtyped, 18 – A(H1N1)pdm09, 4 – A(H3N2), 1- A+SARS-CoV-2 , 1-A(H1N1)+SARS-CoV-2) and in 33 samples – the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
Specialists still recommend observing protective measures and contacting the family doctor when the first symptoms of infection appear.
