Several people were refused entry to the Republic of Moldova. Violations found by the border police
14 people were refused entry to the Republic of Moldova in the last 24 hours, the General Inspectorate of the Border Police informs in a press release. Also, during the mentioned period, the flow of people at the crossing points was 43,372, a larger number being recorded on the way out of the country - 23,298.
The most "active" border was with Romania, where 24,019 crossings were registered, 11,582 crossings were reported at the Moldovan-Ukrainian border, and 7,771 crossings at the air border.
"With reference to the crossing of the border by citizens of Ukraine, a total number of 10,590 crossings were recorded, of which 5,337 were in the direction of entry into Moldova. Also, the number of 1,661 constituted the crossings of Ukrainian minors", reads the press release.
Moreover, the border police registered several violations, such as two illegal crossings of the state border; seven people who violated the regime of crossing points and that of the border zone; six forged travel documents; but also 15 violations of the rules for using the vignette.
