More than 360 new cases of COVID-19 in the last week of last year
In the last week, 364 cases of infection with the new coronavirus were registered on the territory of the Republic of Moldova, with six cases more than in the previous week.
According to the Ministry of Health, between December 26, 2022 and January 1, 2023, 14,722 tests were performed and three deaths were recorded. Also in the last week, 131 people received their first dose of the anti-COVID vaccine, and 1287 received their third dose. In all, to date, 1,074,807 people have been vaccinated with the full schedule. Starting in July, citizens can administer their Booster 2 dose of the vaccine against COVID-19. Moreover, it is possible to immunize children who have reached the age of 12.
