Similar challenges have been reported in other areas, with trucks struggling to navigate the icy roads and even derailing in some cases.

Police patrolled areas like Zgurița and Chetroșica Nouă, helping stuck vehicles and preventing further blockages. In Fălești and Soroca, officers offered assistance to drivers whose cars had skidded off the road.
Chișinău Battling the Elements: In the capital city of Chișinău, municipal services have been working tirelessly throughout the night and into the morning to remove snow and ice from streets, sidewalks, bus stops, and access roads in the suburbs.
