The so-called leader from Tiraspol, Vadim Krasnoselski, claims that the acquisition of citizenship of the Russian Federation by young people from the left of the Nistru is now a problem and recommended the relevant institutions to boost their activity in this direction.

"I want to talk about the basic global problems that exist today. And in the first place is the acquisition of citizenship of the Russian Federation by young people and those born after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Unfortunately, the citizens of the Transnistrian region do not have such an opportunity. More precisely, it is, but not everyone has it. Is not correct. Therefore, the Supreme Council, other governmental and administrative bodies, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, must boost their work in this direction," said Vadim Krasnoselski.

He asked the pretended foreign minister of the region, Vitaly Ignatiev, to improve the activity of the official representation of the Transnistrian region in Moscow and expand the tasks of this structure, including legal advice and support.

On the other hand, the spokeswoman of the Political Reintegration Bureau, Mariana Sarî, stated in a comment for Radio Moldova that the young people in the Transnistrian region are rational and understand the prospects for development.

"According to the available information, they have recently been massively documenting themselves with documents issued by the authorities of the Republic of Moldova, in order to continue the educational process and work on the right bank of the Nistru or in the countries with which the Republic of Moldova has concluded mutual collaboration agreements ", said Mariana Sarî.

Vadim Krasnoselski's request was launched after in mid-December last year, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree facilitating the procedure for obtaining Russian citizenship for citizens of the Republic of Moldova, Kazakhstan and Belarus.

Prime Minister Dorin Recean commented that the simplified procedure for obtaining the citizenship of the Russian Federation for Moldovan citizens represents an attempt by the Russian authorities to recruit young people that they would throw into the war machine in Ukraine.
