This marks the country's continued contribution to the KFOR peacekeeping force and strengthens its ties with NATO and the United States.

"Our officers are well-prepared to fulfil this vital role," declared Moldovan Defense Minister Anatolie Nosatîi, underscoring the nation's dedication to global stability.

This deployment further solidifies Moldova's unwavering desire to bolster its military partnerships. Stanislav Secrieru, the President's advisor on defence, emphasised, "We actively seek to reinforce collaborations with both NATO and the United States."

As the mandate of the current KFOR-19 contingent nears its February 2024 expiration, this new batch of troops demonstrates Moldova's unwavering commitment to international peacekeeping efforts.
