The Republic of Moldova will keep some agreements with the CIS, Minister of Foreign Affairs
Some agreements concluded between the Republic of Moldova and the Commonwealth of Independent States will continue to be preserved, because they are beneficial for the citizens, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mihai Popșoi, said in the program "La 360 de grade" from our radio station.
The head of diplomacy from Chisinau said that until now irrelevant treaties have been abandoned.
“The ones that were completely relevant that didn't work or very little for 30 years, we still have work to do. Where the interest of the Republic of Moldova is reflected and where we can benefit directly, we will probably not press, and those that are irrelevant or create certain problems have already been denounced. We approach the problem on a case-by-case basis as long as the interest of the Republic of Moldova does not suffer", said Mihai Popșoi.
We remind you that, until now, the Republic of Moldova denounced about 100 agreements concluded with the CIS, out of the 280 that existed at the beginning of 2023, according to the State Register of Treaties.
