Moldova, Czech Republic strengthen ties in high-level talks
In a phone call on Thursday, Moldovan Vice Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mihai Popșoi and Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský emphasised strong bilateral relations and pledged closer cooperation, the Moldovan MFA has reported.
Discussions focused on:
- Boosting trade and investment: Both sides explored avenues to enhance economic ties, recognizing their mutual advantage.
- Regional security: The ministers exchanged views on current security concerns in the region.
- Moldova's EU integration: Lipavský reiterated Czech support for Moldova's EU accession journey, highlighting Moldova's commitment to reform efforts.
This high-level dialogue underscores the enduring partnership between Moldova and the Czech Republic, marking a positive step towards deeper collaboration in key areas.
