The Republic of Moldova is strengthening the dialogue with the European authorities following the visit of the APCE co-rapporteurs, experts
The Republic of Moldova moves to a new stage of dialogue with the European authorities, after, today, the co-rapporteurs of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe concluded their documentary visit to our country. Experts claim that the monitoring by PACE is useful, given that the Republic of Moldova is facing a hybrid war.

The president of the Foreign Policy and European Integration Commission, Ina Coșeru, claims that after the visit of the APCE co-rapporteurs, which ended today, the communication with the European institutions will be carried out at a more advanced level. According to the official, the opening of accession negotiations to the European Union requires a process of continuous reporting to the European institutions of the progress achieved by the Republic of Moldova.
"The opening of negotiations requires continuous reporting to the European structures and the transmission of reports". The monitoring of the Republic of Moldova by the representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe is currently necessary, claims the political expert Igor Boțan. Our country is facing a hybrid war, and the co-rapporteurs of the APCE can convince themselves of its effects on us.
"We have a war in the neighboring country and obviously during war there is also danger for the Republic of Moldova. The authorities undertake certain measures which, yes, are contested by some citizens from the political class. This monitoring does not hurt, on the contrary it is necessary. From their reports we can also learn what is decent".
We remind that the two co-rapporteurs from the Monitoring Commission of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe carried out a documentary visit to the Republic of Moldova between February 4-7. They talked with the country's president, the prime minister and the representatives of the parliamentary factions about the political situation, the electoral reform and that in the field of justice.
We remind you that our country is monitored by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe since 1995. The Republic of Moldova has an official delegation that participates in the sessions of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
