Romania Commits Funds for Moldova Projects

Romania has pledged 1.9 million Romanian Lei towards actions and projects in the Republic of Moldova, facilitated by the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The decision, sanctioned by the Romanian Government, aims to bolster cooperation between the two nations.

"The projects in Moldova constitute about 40% of the total value allocated in the 2024 Annual Plan," stated a spokesperson from the Ministry.

Outlined in the Annual Plan for International Cooperation for Development and Humanitarian Assistance, initiatives in Romania will target key sectors including education, digitalization, health, emergency response, cyber security, diplomacy, justice, and European affairs.

This commitment underscores Romania's dedication to fostering development and nurturing strategic alliances with Moldova, demonstrating a shared vision for sustainable progress.
